Those who have already tasted the joys of "Groove Quantize" in Cubase will understand me:
Having a groove/feeling/swing/callitlikeyouwant extraction tool from a rhythm loop (drum or other like a funk guitar rhythmic, for example) to have a "template" quantification that can be applied then a EZD Stand-Alone pattern.
Basically, if you love a particular groove sonhg, for example, one from James Brown, you launch the tool that analyzes the temporal position of each transient and converts the result into a quantize template freely applicable to a MIDIfile. We can already do that internally some DAWs like Cubase.
I believe that Steinberg is the inventor of this thing (appeared in Cubase VST5 here nearly 14 years ago) and has evolved since then, but it remains a tool located beyond a virtual instrument. Here, we could do it on a standalone EZD and it would be SOOOO COOL !!!
