cheetah_2 on Alesis DM10 Hi-hat Mapping

Like many, many users who are drummers and not audio engineers I'm having a problem figuring out how to properly map the Alesis DM10 to SD2/Solo. Hopefully you'll be able to provide CLEAR instructions on how to.

What I'm trying to do is:
(1). Connect the DM10 to my Laptop via USB (i.e. MIDI OUT) and map it to SD2/SOLO, and
(2). Connect the PC to my AMP with an Aux cable.

So that I can get the SD sounds coming out of my AMP.

The Issues are:

1. Apparently the continuous controller CC4 nor CC1 work. So as I understand it can't be done. Therefore, other users suggested to set up the trigger in the DM10 Utility to HH: NOTE ONLY, as opposed to NOTE + CC#4 (see image below).

2. On the DM10 under Instruments -> Hi-Hats ->MIDI the MIDI Note is set up as: 046 A#1 and CAN NOT be changed (see image)

I used MIDI OX to find what notes are being sent from the DM10 to the laptop (withe the HH Splash option in the DM10 turned OFF). There are only 2 notes being sent, are they are:

1. B2 when you hit the HH with open pedal, and
2. F#2 when you hit the HH with a closed pedal.

So my questions are: Given that the DM10 can only send 2 notes for the HH.

1. Which articulations should be mapped? and what are the notes in each articulation?

2. Does the "Hi-Hats ->MIDI the MIDI Note that is fixed: 046 A#1" in the DM10 relate to anything in SD2?
