olliepudge on SD3 hi hat settings

Hi Damian,
Yes I tried that. I have it set to the closed setting, but it still sounds a little open. Doesn't close tight. It seems like adjusting ANY of the articulations does nothing as if the software isn't reading my hi hat, but that can't be the case because it plays sound when I hit it. I'm puzzled here.
