DiCon on SD3 menus and touchscreen

I just decided to upgrade the sound of an old Roland kit with SD3 and a retired Windows convertible. The results are amazing and I am thinking about mounting the convertible to my drum rack!

However, there is a little inconvenience because I can only control SD3 when the convertible is in its laptop configuration, while I would love to attach it to my rack in tablet mode which is much more compact. I understand, that creating a complete and optimized touch interface is a lot of work and certainly not high priority, so I do not even dare to ask for one. Actually, SD3 already can be controlled quite fine with touch except for the menus...

When I try to navigate one of the menus on the touch screen (like the main menu at the top or the one which selects different kit presets), I cannot navigate into submenus. The menus seem to only expand when there is a hover event from the mouse, which does not happen on a touch screen. If I am not mistaken, there would be no harm in extending the menu on a mouse-click event as well. This would be a very simple fix, which would allow to do at least the basic stuff on a touchscreen.
