I’ll give it a shot. Is the one you’re using easy to install and use? I’m not too good with this stuff which is why I stick to standalone software if I can. Anything I need to know before installing it? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's easy to use. You don't need to install something, just unpack and start. Then choose "New plugin" ans select the SD3 plugin. Next set MIDI and audio devices and you're done.
