... but if you have to simulate it after the fact, using the instrument's Envelope to change the Decay, Sustain, Hold and Release and then add Filter/EQ in mixer on the channels in question and perhaps play with the Level Envelope Releases for e.g. the AMB channel in the mixer as well, should get you somewhere near.
