I don't think there's one setting that applies to all drums and situations but in general, I'd try rolling off a bit with a Low-pass filter with a gentle slope.
If you have applied an Envelope to your drums, you can experiment with the 'Level Envelope Releases' in the OH/AMB channels in the mixer.
Personally, I'd keep any AMB mics pretty low in volume but you can also try soloing the AMB channel(s) and insert an EQ and try to find the frequencies that 'boost' the room and make it sound larger. When you have, invert the boost to a cut instead.
