Nicholas DiFabbio on How to work backward after selecting a groove

I have no filters selected and have found a groove that works for most of a piece.
How do I find similar grooves/fills that will work with it.
If no filters are selected what does the program default to.
Also there are large volume differences among grooves/fills.
I've selected a rolling train snare groove and when auditioning other grooves, they all seem to blast in quite loud. If I add them to the track I have to go in and adjust velocities usually down.
