Just a thought; you are installing the 64-bit EZD2 update right? There should be 2 installers in the 2.1.1 update download...a 32-bit update and a 64-bit update. You are installing the 64-bit version right? If not, I would fully expect the 32-bit EZD2 to install to the x86 location...as it should.
