Sorry that I can't be of more help.
We use Macs exclusively in each of our rooms with a variety of displays & resolutions.
Our main room uses a 27" display, a Raven MTi and a 4k monitor (simultaneously).
SuperiorDrummer looks & works without issue on each of these displays.
Likewise, our 2nd room uses a 27" iMac and a Raven MTi.
Again, SuperiorDrummer looks & works without issue here, too.
Personally, I use a MacBook Pro Retina with all DAWs (Pro Tools 12, Logic Pro X, Studio One 3, and Reaper)
and all Toontrack products (EZDrummer2, EZKeys, EXMix2, and SuperiorDrummer2) at its default Retina display configuration.
