Yes, if I save my DAW song (I use preSonus Studio One 3 pro), the song in EZKeys saves. That though was not my question. My question was , 'I would love to be able to save a project in EZ Keys like I can in EZ Drummer."
In EZ Drummer there is an option to save a project file which, as you say, saves the kit and the song. Herein lies the problem for me. I often compose in my DAW on a scratch song. It is great that I can save the EZ Drummer project file because once I have composed the song, I can create the recording of the song (which is different from the scratch version) and can import the project file for EZ Drummer and I am off to the races. I am unable to do that with EZKeys. All it would take is a menue item (like EZDrummer) that allows you to save a "Project File".
