Thanx y'all..just got meh an alesis dm10 studio mesh.
Been researching for weeks how to run it to pc..
So many things to read...
TO BAD ALL THE VIDES AND CRAP ARE FROM LIKE A BILLION YEARS AGO..lol
But yeah wow!
Talk about a great program!
Literally bought a new 4g expandable to 8g laptop for these drums and program
With win 10..
TALK ABOUT EFFORTLESS!
Set up was a breeze for a guy with lil to no real pc experience..
I havnt uploaded a program since music maker ten and that was just looping and crap. like 15 years ago or sumthin
I am currently on day 1 of my ezd2 trial
I am for sure buying this..
It took me about 1 he to completely synq it and get the lag from set to pc worked out that was easy..
Turn pc to performance mode!
And when choosing not and sound source play with it I got it down 1.5me
Literally so Damn close to real almost hard to tell..can only tell when I'm rolling on the snare hard and even that is fixable...
Go into dm10 settings..
Enable midi send
And mid receive
Then go to triggers
And literally turn sensitivity on every trigger to 99
Bam no more lag or miss communication between the units...
Dude I a putard figured this out and now one more thing to try..
Complaints about playing with or ezd2 music/iPod/mp3 players..
I found a way.
And didn't see anyone else doing this
SPLIT YOU LINE IN!!
Pc headphone jack to headphone splitter, one side to device one side going into dm10 module input on rear...
Turn all eq on dm10 0ff or you will get double hits..
Plug in headphones to dm10 headphone out and bam..ezd2 and music..
Control music volume on the device that's plugged in..
Drum volume via ezd2 or pc volume control..
