Alinae on Lost SD Installation DVD and question about installing on 2 computers
Hey,
I'm looking to install SD on my Mac Pro but I've lost the installation DVD...
Is it any way to download it?
Secondly, I was wondering if it would be possible to install it on 2 computers (I actually work with 2 Mac Pro at the same time and it would be something quite usefull)?

There is currently no option to download Superior Drummer products. You would need to contact Toontrack directly and ask for replacement discs. See the Contact Support link in the FAQ below.

Yes, you can install on 2 computers at one time. You would just need to authorize both systems.

currently there is no way to download the DVD:s. Can you copy the library from an old installation, perhaps? Otherwise you will have to order replacement media

I'm new to EZ Drummer, I purchased it on Black Friday and opted for the free Pop/Rock EZX. I downloaded it and unzipped it but I don't see it my library. How do I get it into EZ Drummer 2?

There is an installer in the unzipped folder, did you run that? Do you only see Modern and Vintage in the EZX/Library selector (the big orange menu in the top right of EZdrummer 2)?

Hi,
my "request" or suggestion is to make an easier linking between your products.
E.g. 1) you have a drumm track (midi) from EZD and want a working keys track with it - Toontrack could offer piano midi, that in principle fit to the basic rhythm.
E.g. 2) You have created a song structure in the song creator of one of the programs (EZK / EZD) - than you could make it easy to import that structure to the other program
E.g. 3) There are for sure more things 😉
Not a big thing and also not REALLY important, as the programs are easy and good as they are, but maybe still worth thinking about it?

Hello Toontrack,
I'm using Cubase Pro 8,5 since yesterday and it has a nice new feature:
In the drum editor you have an option: "Show Drum Sounds in use by Instrument", but this only works on VST3 instruments, and EZDrummer 2 is (still?) VST 2,4.
Any chance of an update/upgrade to VST 3??

jmasno5 on Suggestion - The way midi grooves are imported from EZD 2 into a DAW
Currently, when midi grooves are arranged in EZ Drummer 2's song creator section then dragged into a DAW, the midi grooves appear as one long midi groove. To avoid this, I drag one groove or a section of grooves at a time into the DAW which, in itself, is a drag. I'm always making changes as the song progresses. It would great if the midi grooves stay as individual grooves when dragged from EZD 2's song creator section.
My DAW is Sonar Platinum

What exactly are you having trouble with? If you download and install the full EZD1 product, and then download the 1.4.0 update, there will be the 64-bit update in the 1.4.0 update download (see the pics above).

The second pic is of the full 1.4.0 installer and not the 'Update'. If you download the 'Update' file (see my pic) do you have the 64-bit Updater?
