It works with Superior 2 as well as EZdrummer 2. EZdrummer 1 was discontinued long ago, so it is only logical that it isn't compatible with EZdrummer 1.

What I do is record from Logic or Pro Tools to the EZkeys Song Track. It's faster and cleaner. Set the region, click rec in EZkeys and play in your DAW -> MIDI on the Song Track.
